Kiwassa Neighbourhood House:
We have partnered with Kiwassa Neighbourhood House in hosting monthly brunch. Monthly brunch program commenced in May 2010 and Kiwassa has been providing NHCF access to the Kitchen to prepare and, Hall for serving the food. We also collaborated with Kiwassa in hosting welcome party for the new immigrants. Kiwassa is a grassroots volunteer-led non-profit organization. They provide a broad range of accessible, free and affordable programs for children, youth, families, seniors and adults, and volunteer and leadership opportunities in the northeast of Vancouver. Farmers’ Fresh Mushrooms Inc. (FFMI):
Farmers’ Fresh has been supporting the brunch program since its inception by donating mushrooms on a regular basis. “Farmers’ Fresh Mushrooms produces a wide range of conventional and specialty mushrooms for the North American retail and wholesale food industry. Farm Credit Canada, Abbotsford provided financial support in hosting monthly brunch at Kiwassa Neighbourhood House in 2011-12. Mt. Lehman Vegetable Farms Inc. (MLVF):
